MT. HOOD VOLLEYBALL CLUB
Established in 1996, Mt. Hood Volleyball Club is a non-profit youth development program serving athletes ages 6 –18. Founded by veteran coach Sue Doan, who continues to lead the program with over 30 years of coaching experience, our club is rooted in a strong tradition of family values, personal growth, and competitive excellence.
At Mt. Hood, we believe that volleyball is more than just a sport, it's for building character, developing leadership, and fostering lifelong skills. Our mission is to coach the whole athlete, physically, mentally, and emotionally-preparing them not just for competition, but for life.
OUR VALUES
What sets Mt. Hood apart is our foundation of integrity and our family-centered environment. We recognize that family and academics come first, and we strive to support our athletes in balancing these priorities. While we ask for full commitment to the program, we remain flexible and understanding, working with families to help every athlete succeed both on and off the court.
We invite and encourage full family participation-building their team’s community, cheering from the sidelines and supporting our athletes throughout their journey. We believe players thrive when surrounded by a strong and connected support system.
OUR COMMITMENT
We are dedicated to making competitive volleyball accessible and rewarding for all athletes who are passionate about the game. Whether a player is just starting or striving for college-level competition, Mt. Hood Volleyball Club provides a positive, challenging, and inclusive environment where every athlete can grow, compete, and thrive.
